Teaching Professor (m/f/d) in Economics

to join Frankfurt School of Finance and Management's Office of Information Technology. Frankfurt School’s Office of Information Technology provides IT services to a diverse community of more than 5000 students, faculty and staff. Our ever-growing team conceptualises and implements innovative solutions in infrastructure engineering, digital transformation and technical support.

Your tasks:

The ideal candidate should have a teaching and applied research focus in the area of macroeconomics and/or microeconomics. Willingness to teach in the areas of international and monetary economics may be an advantage but is not required. Candidates are expected to develop and teach courses in the above areas to undergraduate management students in English and German, and to supervise final theses in bachelor's and master's programs.

Your profile:

  • University degree and completed doctorate.
  • Fulfillment of the appointment requirements according to § 62 HHG
  • At least 5 years of professional experience after the doctorate (could be inside and outside the university)
  • Experience in university teaching, evidenced by list of courses taught including evaluations
  • Relevant research publications
