•   Provide Technical Service, product and application information/support in the respective areas to help solve customer problems. Internal production support as needed.•   Plan, perform, evaluate and manage applied research projects and Tech Service projects.•   Performance oriented optimization of formulations and formulation development.•   Provide clear written and verbal communication of testing and development activities.•   Communicate with customers and distributors via email, phone, visits conferences and fairs.•   Provide expertise to segment teams, identify new technical needs in the industry to support product development programs, support Marketing and Sales.•   Organize and maintain lab area in safe professional manner, optimize lab capabilities.•   Comply with EHS&Q guidelines and Laboratory practices.


Accepts responsibility for his or her own safety and health.  Performs assigned duties in a manner that is safe and protective of the environment and ensures the quality of our products.  Follows operating procedures to ensure a safe and environmentally protective workplace.  Observes and reports all incidents, quality issues and unsafe conditions.  Takes an active interest in improving safety, environmental protection and product quality.



•   Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or scientific disciple with strong chemistry content and 2 years of relevant experience (at a printer, running the printing equipment) preferred OR Master’s Degree in Chemistry or scientific disciple with strong chemistry content. (Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical) •   2-5 years of experience in relevant industry environment (preferably adhesives, sealants, polymer compounding) preferred •   Experience in Silicones and/or UV curing a plus.  •   Experience in formulating and testing of polymer-based systems and/or UV cure inks, coatings or packaging materials desired.•   Good laboratory bench skills.  Skills in oral, written, and electronic communication of technical information.•   Common Office software required (Microsoft, SAP preferred)•   Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
