In pursuit of the goal of attracting particularly highly qualified junior researchers to the University, the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences Faculty at Tübingen University invites applications for the position of
W2-Professorship of Education Science, focusing on Adult Education and Advanced Professional Training,
to commence on 01.04.2019 or later; the position is initially limited to 3 years, with a possible further extension until 31.03.2024 at the latest.
The preferred candidate will represent a broad spectrum in research and teaching in the academic field of adult education and advanced professional training; he/she must have a proven track record in the field. He/she will be expected to collaborate in Education and interdisciplinary research within both the institute and the faculty and with the German Institute for Adult Education - Leibniz Centre for Lifelong Learning in Bonn. The preferred candidate will be involved in all the institute’s study programs and in the training of students in teaching-degree programs.
Required qualifications include a PhD or equivalent international degree and postdoctoral qualifications equivalent to the requirements for tenure. This includes evidence of teaching effectiveness.
