Location of Conference
The conference will bring together senior representatives from academia, developing institutions, companies and investors to provide a future-oriented assessment of the governance situations in three important regions of the world - Africa, Asia and Southern Europe.
For the three regions with their key countries, a combination of presentations with intensive discussions of the key issues, the governance development and the problems of implementing good governance. The presentation for each region will be followed by a panel discussion with additional experts to highlight the future ways for governance development in emerging countries.
Further sessions of the conference focus on two key governance issues:
‐ Performance impact of 'good governance' in emerging markets
‐ Discussion of corruption and practical ways of dealing with this major governance problem
