MIC 2013 is the 14th Management International Conference and is a traditional conference for scholars of management studies, welcoming participants from around the world, with broad and diverse research interests.

Among the many topics related to management, the special focus of MIC 2013 is on the necessity of collaboration between industry, science and policy makers. In general it has been accepted that the economic development model broke down. This is why management models need to change aiming to drive the society toward the sustainable future. Science is not powerful enough in meeting the challenge of sustainable future alone. Thus, scientific knowledge and research results are needed for industry and policy makers to take the rights decisions.
