Accounting and Control

The specialisation Accounting & Control provides you with the latest knowledge on accounting information systems, management accounting and control,  financial accounting and governance, and auditing. The programme addresses topics of practical relevance to contemporary organisations, applying the outcomes of scientic papers to cases in which you will have to design solutions to real life problems. In doing so you will also have to address the many social and institutional aspects that are taught covering disciplines like sociology and psychology. Corporate Finance and Control

The specialisation Corporate Finance and Control (CFC) provides you with state-of-the-art scientific and practical knowledge in corporate finance, reporting and control, focusing on all important aspects that deal with the  financial management of a  firm. The topics include advanced corporate reporting and governance,  firm valuation and  financing (for example, in mergers and acquisitions), the role of global financial markets, and the management of risk in an international environment. You will be confronted with practical business cases and the latest developments in the scientic discipline. The focus on topics that integrate institutional and behavioural aspects of  nance is unique to this specialisation.
