The programme, a two year master’s official degree, is designed to extend students’ capabilities in using the theoretical and empirical techniques needed to analyze real world economic problems and to provide students with the chance to undertake cutting-edge research at one of the world’s leading higher education institutions.
This Master enables you to specialize in areas of interest for your future profession or research. The specialization subjects offered are around 30 organized by the following areas:

· Games, Behaviour and Incentives
This is the perfect programme for recent graduates looking to develop their research skills through a broad selection of courses entirely taught in English by our top researchers. Since this is a two-year master, students will have the chance to develop a strong methodological grounding and specialize in areas of particular interest to them.
On successfully completing the programme, students can expect to find employment in a broad range of sectors, including higher education and economic consulting. The strongest candidates are encouraged to undertake advanced research on the PhD Programme.
Students offered a place on the programme can be considered for a grant. UB Economics publish on April/May a call for two positions for one year as a UB ECONOMICS TA and also there are some calls for funding opportunities offered by public institutions during the course (collaboration scholarships…). All of them awarded competitively, on the basis of academic merit. However, you are encouraged to apply for external support for which you are eligible.
