Established in 1991 in cooperation with the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA, and the University of Ottawa, Canada, Riga Business School (RBS) is a management – education institution within Riga Technical University (RTU). RBS is the only school in the Baltics which offers North-American style MBA and BBA programs that contain high-level teaching standards and structure, a liberal art approach, intensive case studies, group work, and active classroom participation.
The programs based on fundamental business related subjects in management (Finance, Economics, Methods, Law, and Intercultural Communication) and provide different valuable courses, such as StartUp Lab, Sales Management, Writing for Intercultural Communication, Art General, Intellectual Property, Financial Decision Making, etc.
RBS also provide BBA Double-Degree options in cooperation with the BI Norwegian Business School (Norway) and with the State University of New York at Buffalo (USA).
