The Chair of Macroeconomics (Prof. Dr. C. Clemens) at Bielefeld University invites applications for a position as a

Postdoc  (TV-L 13)

to be appointed on April 1, 2013. The position is for two years, with the possibility of renewal.

The chair's main focus is on theoretical and quantitative research in the area of Macroeconomic Analysis such as growth theory, the distribution of income and wealth, international economics and environmental issues.

Applicants hold a Ph.D. in Economics, preferably in the field of Dynamic Macroeconomics. The preferred candidate has demonstrated her or his potential to conduct high-quality research, ideally by having published in peer-reviewed journals. He/she is engaged in questions related to the topics of the research group and has strong skills in the theoretical and numerical analysis of dynamical systems. Excellent command of English and a good knowledge of German are required. The applicant will contribute to teaching in the Bachelor, Master, and Postgraduate programmes of the Department of Business Administration and Economics.
