The Dual Enrollment Program enables qualified public, private and home education students in the 10th, 11th and 12th grades to enroll in selected college and vocational credit courses offered by Eastern Florida State College. In accordance with s. 1009.25, F.S., the College does not charge dual enrollment and early admission students tuition and certain fees. The credits that they earn count toward both a college degree or certificate and a high school diploma. Be sure to check the links in this web section for Dual Enrollment details for public and private or home school students. The eligibility criteria for dual enrollment is based on the student’s selected program of study. Students pursuing a university-transfer Associate in Arts (A.A.) Degree or the technical Associate in Science (A.S.) Degree must present an unweighted cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.0 and college-ready Reading and Writing scores from the ACT, SAT or college-administered PERT. Students pursuing a College Credit Certificate (C.C.C.) must present an unweighted cumulative high school GPA of at least 2.5 and have ACT, SAT or PERT scores on file. College-ready scores in Reading and Writing are not required to dual enroll in a C.C.C. program.
