The MEd degree is primarily focused toward teachers, staff, and administrators who want to increase their understanding of the role of technology and its appropriate implementation in the teaching and learning process. The program helps students evaluate, integrate, and implement various forms of technology and instructional design skills into their current teaching or administrative assignments. Completing the MEd program does not qualify the student for a Utah teaching license. The MEd is a master’s level degree.
A specialization is not required.
Information Technology and School Library Media Administration (MEd): This specialization is available for students who wish to become an administrator in a school library media center.
