If you’re on track to be a  financial analyst, budget analyst, financial manager, corporate treasurer/controller, or management consultant, Ball State’s graduate certificate in finance can give you the analytic and theoretical tools needed once you get there. Plus, you’ll have 12 credits toward our MBA with a concentration in finance.

Finance professionals are needed to provide critical input to businesses, governments, not-for-profit entities, and financial institutions. Your track may lead you into a field such as commercial banking, corporate finance, insurance, private equity, real estate, or financial planning.

A Credential that Keeps You Current

Although financial managers typically have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration, the graduate certificate is an added credential that keeps you current professionally and marketable when job opportunities arise.

While you may bring a bachelor’s in business to the MBA certificate, the finance certificate actually requires little or no knowledge of finance and welcomes students from outside the discipline.
