Graduate WFED and Career-Technical Education (CTE)

BGSU’s Master of Education in Workforce Education and Development program qualifies students for competitive positions in teaching, business and industry, and leadership in areas including business, education and career-technical education. The program is offered in on-campus, blended on-campus and online and completely online formats. In addition to core courses in foundations, curriculum, teaching methodology and research, students will match their background and career goals to a variety of programs that permit them to select from elective courses related to their goals. The degree program requires 36 credit hours. It is composed of 5 core courses (3 credit hours each) that all students take and 18 credit hours of electives. In addition, students must complete a capstone experience toward the end of the program for 3 credit hours that is in the form of a thesis or a project.
