Human Resource Development (HRD) is a process of developing human expertise through organization development and personnel training and development so that individual improvement enhances corporate performance. Careers in this field are available in business, nonprofit, educational and governmental settings. The HRD program provides students the opportunity to combine study and related experiences to develop, apply, analyze, synthesize and evaluate knowledge of the purposes, practices, issues and problems of private for profit and public not-for-profit organizations. Students also have the opportunity to learn how to design, deliver and evaluate effective training programs. This program can be completed face-to-face or online.
