This program prepares young graduates (with business or engineering background) and early-career professionals for a successful career into the world of Supply Chain Business and Logistics. With a sharp focus on developing well-rounded professionals, this specialized management program equips you with the knowledge, skills, international outlook, and practical experience to launch yourself in Supply Chain & Logistics in Greece and abroad. You learn how the supply chain management integrates all key business processes from original suppliers to end users and how it adds value in products and services for customers and other stakeholders in a global scale.

1st Period | September – October14 | 1 This course is preparatory; designed to help students familiarize themselves with aspects of mathematics necessary for the comprehension of modern MBA courses. It covers three main areas: Firstly, the basics of derivatives and optimization of differentiable functions, mainly with a view to assist the student with applications to follow in the economics courses. Secondly, the basics of probability, random variables, and their distributions in order to provide a working background for statistical and financial applications. Finally, the basics of descriptive statistics, that will assist the students in comprehending statistical reports. Inferential statistics will be mentioned, albeit briefly, in order for the student to connect the basic notions discussed in probability and descriptive statistics with quantitative research methods that will be covered later on in the programme. Financial Accounting28 | 2 The course explores the ‘art’ of financial accounting / financial reporting. In particular, the goal of the course is to provide the knowledge and skills required for the understanding and use of financial accounting information for decision making. Some of the topics covered during the course include: the role and importance of financial reporting, the role of the main players in the accounting communication process, including the management, auditors and stakeholders, the effects of the use of different accounting methods and estimates on the financial statements and the subsequent impact on decision making, ways of analysing, interpreting and evaluating financial statements. During the course, extensive reference is made to the annual reports of various companies, as well as to accounting scandals (e.g. ENRON), for the facilitation of knowledge and understanding. Business Economics28 | 2 This course concentrates on the economic foundations of management by developing tools to analyze key issues of the industry (microeconomics) and general economic environment (macroeconomics) of a company. The course employs classical economic as well as game theoretic methodology to study the operation of markets in allocating resources as well as the markets’ impact on managerial decision making. Topics under consideration include the consumer and business behavior, their interacting in competitive and non-competitive markets and the impact of market structure in the company’s managerial decision making and strategies. Furthermore, the course develops thinking frameworks and methods to help participants to accurately assess the macroeconomic environment within which businesses operate and also to identify channels through which this environment influences their managerial decision making. 2nd Period | November – December28 | 2 The course provides an overview of the core areas of management theory and organizational behaviour with a special emphasis on issues of organizational structures, culture and values, employee motivation and job design, leadership and power, group processes as well as organizational learning and knowledge management. It will help participants understand the complex relation between individuals, groups and organizations and will introduce the concepts and the tools for effective management of the human capital. It will also help them understand how they can become change catalysts by performing their leadership role as managers; how they can manage knowledge; how they can inspire people to put extra effort for achieving the organizational vision and for outstanding performance and results. Through case studies, videos and discussion, students will have the opportunity to exercise their critical thinking and build people management skills by applying organizational theory to a broad range of organizational types, settings, and challenges. Business Writing & Presentation Skills Workshop14 | 128 | 2 This core course introduces the basic concepts and analytical tools used in analysing the major investing and financing decisions of a firm. Students are presented with the major tasks of a financial manager, whose decisions contribute toward the accomplishment of the firm’s objectives. The course introduces the major issues in the theory and policy of finance. Emphasis is given in the following areas: Objectives of the Financial Manager; Financial Statement Analysis; Financial Planning; Financial Markets; Valuation of Corporate Securities; Financing Decisions and Cost of Capital; Derivatives; Analysis of Financial Information for Management Decisions; Corporate Governance; Long term Investing Decisions. KEDGE Semester * | February - June30 | * This course is designed to give students a modern vision of the procurement function by showing its developments and new methods developed to cope with changes in the current socio‐economic environment. Buyers' skills and practices have evolved and the relationship between procurement and other business functions are no longer the same as when the purchasing function was a simple support function. Sustainable Logistics and Sourcing Strategies30 | * The course will provide an overview of sustainable supply chains and provides a perspective of latest research and best practices in each of these areas, participants will learn how to deploy the latest advances in technology and process design to create a sustainable supply chain. Students will use the Bilan Carbone ® tool to evaluate their supply chain. At the end of the module, if the student passes the examination, the student has a carbon certification. The student is able to transfer their Bilan Carbone ® license for his(her) enterprise and have the scientific expertise to the recommendation and implementation of sustainable decisions. Supply Chain Planning and Integration with SAP30 | * This course is designed to give students basic knowledge of the use of SAP ERP for conducting operations related to the management of the supply chain. Information systems in general and ERPs in particular are instrumental in the smooth running of the different parts of a firm’s supply chain, including production, warehouse management, purchasing, inbound and outbound shipping. It is thus important for students to better understand the functioning of such systems, as well as the practical implications of their use by companies. Supply Chain Simulation and Case Studies30 | * The course provides a simulation that allows the exploration and the exploitation of basic supply chain management practices. The simulation offers a set of rounds that show the impact of interfunctional decisions on the global performance of the supply chain. It also allows the validation of the inherent role of information sharing and the understanding of the notion of the bullwhip effect. Finally, it has the objective to confront the students to the principle of global vision in the supply chain. From Sustainable Development (SD) to Corporate Global Responsibility (CGR)15 | * The CSR and sustainability induces an interdisciplinary approach while it concerns each activity of a multinational company and all the main management functions. It is also multidimensional as it has to take into account economic, social and environmental aspects of doing business in a global context. The module aims to enable students to develop a personal reflection and awareness on CRS issues, while both studying cases and investigating a real multinational company case. Corporate Global Responsibility and Diversity Management15 | * This course will provide a conceptual and theoretical framework to discover, understand and analyse the management of diversity in productive organizations which are operating in hybrid and cross- cultural contexts. Intercultural Management 30 | * The course aims to provide participants with a conceptual and practical understanding of the problems and challenges in the management of multinational corporations. It covers fundamental issues of global strategy and management, the traditional and emerging models of Multinational Corporations (MNCs), ongoing challenges in managing cross-border operations, the relationships between the MNC and the institutional environment and emerging topics in global strategy and management. In addition, students have to write a business proposal working in a multi-cultural team. Be-U : Personal Development Module33 | * Be-U : My Story (18 hours), Be-U : Personal Development (9 hours), Be-U : Develop your Self Awareness (6 hours), Grand Oral defense: At the end of these workshops the students will be aware of their personal and profesional skills and behaviours as well as their personal motives that will be guiding their future. The students will have constructed their own profesional path and project and set up an action plan including their own commitments for next steps (internship and job finding) required by the program. The workshops complete with the Grand Oral Defence which is an exercise which takes the form of an argumentation for a job interview throughout which students must build a synthesis of the competencies/skills acquired during their career path/studies at EBP International and prove them , as well as demonstrate their motivations.
