The certificate program in Office Administration Assistant prepares students to work as an office administrative assistant in a private corporation, professional office, civil service or government office. This certificate program consolidates three former certificate offerings (Microsoft Office Applications Proficiency Preparation, School Secretary, Accounting/Office Administration Technology). The Office Administration Assistant Certificate incorporates flexibility and choices that allow students to use their business elective credits to select the courses that will best serve their particular interests and meet the ever-changing demands and requirements of the job market. To complete the certificate, students can follow one of the options OR select any 16 credits from the courses listed in any of the options to design an Office Administration Assistant Certificate that meets their future career objectives.
