About the Post
The School of Economics and Finance, ranked joint sixth in the UK in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, is seeking to employ a suitably qualified Research Assistant who will undertake a twenty two month fixed post commencing 2nd September 2013.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of School, Professor George Kapetanios and provide research support to Professor Kapetanios for a variety of projects. The post holder must be proficient in programming with Matlab and Gauss and be familiar with the use of economics databases such as Datastream. Applicants should have as a minimum a good MSc qualification and ideally should be studying towards a PhD in either Finance or Economics or already have such a PhD. The salary for the post will be £28,457 per annum.

The post is full time and permanent. Starting salary will be £28,457 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
