HOW TO APPLY

Priority consideration for Marion campus scholarships is given to students who apply for admission to The Ohio State University at Marion by February 1, 2019 (for students wishing to begin their studies in the summer or fall semester of 2019).

Please visit go.osu.edu/marionadmissions for complete information and to access the application.

All components of the admission application (online form, $60 application fee or approved fee waiver and official transcript/s) must be received by the above deadline to be considered on-time, so please be sure to order your high school and/or prior college transcripts sent to the Admissions Office well ahead of the above deadline.

Official transcripts for applicants to any Ohio State campus should be submitted to the university by your high school and/or prior college/s electronically, or by mail to the following address:

Ohio State Undergraduate Admission
P.O. Box 182646
Columbus, OH 43218-2646

Freshmen applicants for the Columbus campus are strongly encouraged to complete and submit all parts of their admission application by Columbus' November 1 Early Action deadline and to check Marion as their alternate choice campus on the Common Application to ensure scholarship consideration at Marion if they are denied admission to Columbus.

Early Action applicants to Columbus who receive a decision of โ€œDeferredโ€ or who accept the offer of a position on the Waitlist are encouraged to consider changing their application to the Marion campus by our February 1 deadline to ensure consideration for a potential Marion campus scholarship award.

AWARD CRITERIA

All award amounts listed below are based on two full-time semesters of attendance (Autumn and Spring), and do not include any other Federal, State or external financial aid for which the student may qualify.

Summer semester awards are not available to students graduating from high school in the spring of the same calendar year.

The current, full-time, in-state tuition rate for new, first-semester freshmen is only $7,660 per year ($3,830 per semester).

The current, full-time, in-state tuition rate transfer students is $7,140 ($3,570 per semester).

High school graduates who have never enrolled in college courses after graduation will be awarded based upon the following criteria, based upon academic data on file with the OSU Admission Office as of the date of admission to the university.

Additional academic data received after the date of admission will not result in any change to the studentโ€™s award.

New admission applicants for the spring semester of 2019 will be awarded on a funds-available basis only, as it is the final term of the 2018-2019 academic year.
