Postgraduate scholarships

Scholarships
The IHP awards scholarships for tuition and fees to approximately 20% of each entering DPT class. You do not apply for these scholarships. They will be offered based on the strength of your application. The scholarships cover varying amounts of the total cost of tuition and fees for the program, ranging from 25% to 100%. Scholarship recipients receive notice of these awards in their admissions letters. Learn more about scholarships.
Loans
Many students will take out loans to help finance their DPT. If this is necessary, we encourage you to borrow only what is absolutely essential to cover your educational costs. Learn more about loans available to DPT students.
Graduate Assistantships
MGH Institute academic programs and departments fund Graduate Assistantships. These work opportunities allow students to earn a small stipend to offset some of their educational costs. Learn more about GA positions.
Aid Options for International Students
US Military Options
US Military Scholarship and Student Loan Repayment programs are offered through the five branches of the U.S. armed forces. Military scholarship and student loan repayment programs vary substantially. Students interested in pursuing these programs should be in contact with the armed forces branches directly.
Full-time, Year-Long, Paid Internship
Perhaps the most distinctive feature of our DPT program is the year-long, full-time, paid clinical internship. Having one of these clinical internships helps defray costs as you start your professional PT career. Over the past three years, an average of 80% of the students matched and completed a paid year-long internship. Read more about this internship opportunity.
