The George T. Warren Scholarship is awarded to help students with sensory and/or certain physical disabilities obtain a college education at the University Idaho.
George T. Warren was a graduate of the University of Idaho Law School and became a practicing attorney. In his later years, he experienced both sight and hearing losses. He also had a niece who became a wheelchair user in her mid-twenties. These personal experiences led him to leave an endowment to the University of Idaho to assist students with certain disabilities who demonstrate financial need.
The award is $3,000 annually for undergraduates and graduate students. The reward is renewable up to five years.
