Scholarships and Financial Assistance
With education costs on the rise, enhancing student assistance is a top priority for Acadia. Each year, we award more than $4 million to students in the form of scholarships, scholar-bursaries, bursaries, awards, and prizes. By maintaining a strong scholarship and financial assistance program, we are able to attract, retain and support our students.
As a donor to scholarships and financial assistance, you can direct your gift toward: general award funds or awards for specific departments, faculties, research, or athletic teams; any existing named awards; or you can create a personal legacy by establishing a named award yourself. By supporting scholarships and financial assistance, you can help to ensure access to all of the rewards of an Acadia education.

Roland and Leona Mullen Entrance Awards
Other eligibility criteriaAlberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan
The Roland and Leona Mullen Entrance Awards are awarded on a renewable basis to sixteen students who are entering an undergraduate degree program. Preference will be given to students from Western Canada (Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia) who demonstrate financial need and a commitment to community service, athletics and entrepreneurship.
The awards have been established by Kevin Mullen (BA, Acadia, 1986) in recognition of his parents, Roland and Leona Mullen, who started and grew a successful Western Canada business based on these values along with fairness and a strong work ethic. The Mullen family would like to ensure that students with the above noted qualities continue to be represented at Acadia University.
