Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, Université libre de Bruxelles
Solvay Brussels School is home to the faculty of Economics and Management at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and it is renowned for having a century-old tradition of excellence in higher education.
The School was created through the merger of Solvay Business School with the Economics Department of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Founded in 1903 by Ernest Solvay, the school has built a strong tradition of excellence and innovation in business and economics learning, fueled by deep connections within Brussels multinational entrepreneurial network.
Each year, Solvay, which is EQUIS- and AMBA-accredited, welcomes more than 4,200 students, participating in over 30 programs, including Bachelors, Masters, Complementary Masters, Advanced Masters, Executive Education programs and PhD Programs. Its alumni represent a network of more than 20,000 and are present in all sectors of activities in more than 65 countries worldwide.
As one of the biggest universities in Belgium with around 24,000 students every year, the ULB offers a campus with numerous facilities and events accessible to all students: sports, library, medical services, restaurants, concerts, conferences and many other cultural events all through the year.
