The School of Economics and Management at Leibniz Universität Hannover invites applications for a
University Professorship (BesGr. W3 BBesO) in Managerial Accounting,
to be appointed on October 1st, 2012.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. Their qualifications are expected to merit the rank of tenured full professor and head of the institute. Successful candidates have a strong record of publications in leading international journals in the field of managerial accounting and are expected to continue an active research program in this field. Researchers using formal and quantitative approaches are preferred. Successful candidates have a proven ability to raise research funds and are expected to apply for highly-ranked research programs. Candidates should have an established record of successful teaching and the willingness to teach managerial accounting in the bachelor, master and Ph.D. programs of the School of Economics and Management at Leibniz Universität Hannover. Candidates should actively participate in the school’s research cluster “Accounting and Taxation”.
The general tasks, responsibilities and required qualification for employment are specified in the Higher Education Act of Lower Saxony. Information on specific aspects will be supplied upon request.
Part-time employment is possible.
