Location of Conference
The V International Economics Congress will be hosted this year by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Littoral Polytechnic University (ESPOL), Guayaquil-Ecuador, and will be organized jointly with the National Polytechnic University and the University of Cuenca. In this edition the main focus of the Congress will be devoted to labor markets, public investment, and quantitative economics. Nevertheless, submissions on other topics in economics are welcome.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: There are three types of submissions: abstract submission, completed article submission, and organization of specialized sessions. The submissions must be in English, Spanish, French or Portuguese and will be accepted until April 30, 2017.
1. Abstract Submission: 400 words maximum.
2. Paper Submission: Completed papers will be eligible for publication in the Compendium Journal, indexed in Latinindex and Dialnet.
3. Sessions Organization: Researchers interested in organizing specialized sessions must send an email to email@example.com including three to four papers or abstracts, names and affiliations of presenters and coauthors, key words, JEL codes, and topic of the session.
