Dresden, 23rd – 24th April 2026
The ifo Institute, Dresden Branch warmly invites submissions to the ifo Dresden Workshop on Macroeconomics and International Finance.
Particularly welcome are contributions on the following topics:
- Drivers and consequences of inflation
- Geoeconomic risk
- Financial stability (of emerging markets)
- Exchange rates and capital flows
- Fiscal policy and the macroeconomy
- Has the Phillips curve changed?
- Monetary policy (in a high inflation environment)
- Inflation expectation and forecasting
Each paper will be allocated 45 minutes, to be divided between the presentation, a discussion by an assigned workshop participant and a general discussion.
There is no workshop fee. However, participants are expected to pay their own expenses for travelling, accommodation and the joint infor-mal dinner on April 23rd.
Submission:
Please submit your (preliminary) paper by January 30th 2026 (GMT+1), via the workshop website. Acceptance decisions will be announced by 27th of February. We are looking forward to seeing you in Dresden.
