Doctoral Position in Economics in the PhD Program at JKU Linz

JKU Linz provides a structured doctoral program that includes rigorous coursework in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and specialized field courses, in collaboration with the University of Innsbruck. 

The advertised position is a fully-funded 4-year opportunity with a gross monthly salary of €3,578.80 (paid 14 times per year). As part of the program, funded candidates will contribute to the department’s academic activities, including teaching responsibilities of approximately 2 hours per week.

Applicants should have a strong interest in applied microeconomics, an interest in labor economics is an advantage. Proficiency in English and familiarity with common programming languages are essential.
