CESifo Junior Workshop on Energy and Climate Economics 2026

We invite submissions for the third Junior Workshop on Energy and Climate Economics, which is intended for PhD candidates in the final stages of their studies and for early-career postdoctoral researchers. The goal of the workshop is to gather outstanding early-career researchers to present their latest work, exchange ideas, and promote broader international collaboration. Submissions may deal with any topic within the broad domain of the economics of energy and climate.

Participants will also be invited to attend the CESifo Area Conference on Energy and Climate Economics on 24 – 25 April.

Best Paper Award: A €500 award will be given to the presenter of the best paper at the workshop.

Conference Details: Thursday, 23 April, from 9am until evening. No participation fees. CESifo will organize and cover the costs of accommodation and meals for paper presenters and also offer travel funding support.
