The workshop is intended for PhD candidates in the final stages of their studies and early-career Postdoctoral researchers. It aims to bring together promising junior scholars in labor economics to present and discuss their research, and to foster broader international collaboration and exchange.
Submissions may deal with any topic within the domain of labor economics. For example, topics can range from employment and compensation, immigration and migration, family and gender issues, inequality and poverty, and health and crime. Only submissions of full (draft) papers will be considered. Each person can submit only one paper. Participants will also be invited to attend the CESifo Area Conference on Labor Economics on 29-30 May 2026.
Best Paper Award
A €500 award will be given to the presenter of the best paper at the workshop.
