ROBERTO GOMEZ CALVET
The Workshop on Energy Policy (WEP) aims to be an academic meeting for researchers in energy economics and policy, providing a platform to present their recent work and receive feedback and network. The meeting will take place in person on 6-7 November 2025 at the European University of Valencia (Spain). We invite you to submit your unpublished papers in any field of energy policy. Papers about regulation and energy market design, emission taxation policies, and transport will be especially welcome.
Keynotes:
- Prof. Andreas Löschel (RUB – Ruhr Universität Bochum. Germany).
- Prof. Anne Neumann (NTNU – Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Norway).
- Prof. Sonia Yeh (Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden).
Audience:
A limited number of papers will be selected for presentation during plenary sessions to complement the inaugural paper and keynote conferences. Each presentation will be allocated 25 minutes, followed by a 5–10-minute discussion.
Registration:

Submission:
Papers should be submitted in PDF format via email to Workshop on Energy Policy (ae3bc353.univeuropeaes.onmicrosoft.com@emea.teams.ms). Notifications of acceptance or rejection will be sent within a few days after the submission deadline. After this notification, you will then receive a registration form with payment instructions
Registration Requirement for Presenting Authors:
To present a paper, it is essential to complete the registration process. After acceptance, authors who have not yet registered will receive a registration form along with payment instructions. Additional Benefit for Speakers of Accepted Papers: Upon registration, speakers of an accepted paper will have the option to choose between (i) two complimentary hotel nights or (ii) receive a remuneration of 250 euros.
