Internship on Data Science for Humanities and Social Sciences: Tools, Techniques, and Applications

STAREBS is pleased to announce its forthcoming interdisciplinary internship programme, “Data Science for Humanities and Social Sciences: Tools, Techniques and Applications.” The programme is designed for undergraduate and postgraduate students from the social sciences, humanities, education, language and literature, media studies, and related disciplines. The internship introduces participants to the practical application of data analysis, visualization, text mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital research methods, and other computational tools in academic and social research. No prior programming or advanced mathematical knowledge is required. The programme combines conceptual learning, hands-on training, practical exercises, case studies, and guided project-based learning. Participants will have the opportunity to apply the tools and techniques acquired during the programme to a research problem from their respective disciplines and develop a guided project output.
