INOMICS announces the release of its latest Handbook, a career magazine for Economists

Berlin, May 6th, 2019

Today, INOMICS, a recruitment platform for students, academics and professionals in the field of Economics, Business and Social Sciences, released their 3rd edition of Handbook, the annual career guide for Economists.

This year’s edition contains articles on: the gender imbalance within the discipline; the case for ecological economics; developing soft skills; what makes a ‘successful’ economist. On top of these, you will find contributions from eminent economists Marcel Fratzscher and Esteban Rossi-Hansberg. There is also a return of the INOMICS Awards, which celebrates the Top Employers, Universities, Master’s and PhD programmes, Conferences, and Summer Schools. Here a notable mention must go to the University of Barcelona and EcoMod, our two most decorated institutions.

On this edition’s greater length and scope, CEO Andreas Hoffman commented:

‘We decided it was time that INOMICS started dealing with some of the more serious issues within economics, while still retaining our focus on careers and education. To that end, we’ve tried to tackle some important problems that face the discipline.’
