CESifo Junior Workshop for the Economics of Education 2026

CESifo and the ifo Institute are inviting submissions for the 4th Junior Workshop on the Economics of Education. The workshop is aimed at PhD students towards the end of their PhD phase and Postdocs within one year of their PhD completion. The workshop aims to bring together leading junior researchers in the economics of education to discuss their research and to encourage broader international interactions. Submissions may deal with any topic within the domain of the economics of education. We especially encourage submissions that explore big data tools and methods. Only submissions of full (draft) papers will be considered. Each person can submit only one paper.

A €500 award will be given to the presenter of the best paper at the workshop.
