The Global South–Europe Conference on Economy, Justice and Marginalized Communities 2026 is FREE ONLINE international conference bringing together researchers working on economic, social and development challenges across the Global South and Europe. The conference welcomes complete manuscripts on topics ranging from inequality, conflict and economic justice to labour markets, finance, health economics, digital transformation and economic development. Participation is free, and papers selected by the Scientific Committee will be presented in thematic online sessions. Selected papers may also be recommended for submission to partner peer-reviewed journals.
The Global South–Europe FREE ONLINE Conference on Economy, Justice and Marginalized Communities 2026 is an international online conference bringing together researchers from the Global South, Europe and beyond to discuss contemporary economic and social challenges. The conference creates a space for dialogue across regions and disciplines, with particular attention to the links between economic transformation, inequality, justice, vulnerability and community resilience. Participation is free, and both presenters and attendees who wish to join the discussions without presenting a paper are warmly welcome.
The programme covers two complementary areas. The first focuses on the Global South, justice and marginalized communities, including conflict and reconstruction, trade disruptions and sanctions, economic vulnerability, food security, health inequality, climate justice, gender, social exclusion and Global South–Europe relations. The second welcomes a broad range of economic research, including labour markets, poverty and inequality, education and human capital, health economics, finance and financial inclusion, public economics, regional development, the digital economy and AI, international trade and macroeconomic change. The conference welcomes theoretical, empirical, applied, qualitative, quantitative, interdisciplinary and policy-oriented research.
Authors are invited to submit complete manuscripts rather than abstracts. Submitted papers will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, and selected authors will be invited to present their research in thematic online sessions. All presenters will receive a Certificate of Participation in recognition of their contribution to the conference. Selected papers may also be recommended for submission to the peer-reviewed journals Positive Science – Economics and the Journal of Marginalized Communities and Social Justice (JMCSJ); all recommended papers remain subject to the journals’ independent editorial assessment and peer-review procedures.
