Established in 1966, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute
(SIPRI) is an independent international research center located in Stockhom,
Sweden. The institute mainly focuses on the subjects of arms control,
armaments, conflict, and disarmament. SIPRI publishes the most up to
date analysis, data, and recommendations for researchers, policy makers,
media, and all other interested bodies.
