Economics: Two Assistant Professors (tenure-track) in applied microeconomics, with particular interest in candidates working in health economics; to teach courses at the undergraduate and Master’s level; to publish original high-quality research; to advise students; and to engage in service. Job Description:

The Department of Economics at Miami University invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professor positions. Duties include teaching courses at the undergraduate and Master’s level, publishing original high-quality research, advising students, and engaging in service.

The Department of Economics, which is in the Farmer School of Business, has approximately 500 undergraduate majors and 15 students in its Master’s in Economics program. High quality teaching and research are both valued in the department, which is composed of approximately 25 tenured/tenure-track, teaching, and visiting faculty.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in economics or related discipline by date of appointment.
• Candidates with research interests in applied microeconomics and especially health economics will receive priority consideration.
