Job Description

Work Area: Funding Opportunities.

Project overview: The activity to be developed falls within the scope of the funding opportunities office, specifically regarding the search for and dissemination of information about funding opportunities and assistance in preparing applications for European and international programs.

Objectives:

• Seeking and disseminating information about European and international funding opportunities for INESC TEC's R&D&I activities.
• Preparing reports on programs and funding possibilities.
• Monitoring and participating in the preparation and submission of applications.
• Compiling data on submitted applications and providing information on the results.

Academic Qualifications: Master's Degree, Integrated Master's Degree, Bachelor's Degree - Before Bologna. In Economics, Law or International Relations.

Minimum profile required: Oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English; computer proficiency in Windows and Office tools. Proactive personality, initiative, and willingness to learn.

Preference factors: Good organizational, analytical and proactive skills in finding solutions. Ability to integrate easily into work teams. Willingness to travel abroad. Advanced knowledge of spoken and written English. Experience in European funding issues.

Funding Entity:

Type of contract: fixed-term contract.

The hiring shall be governed by what is stipulated in the legislation in force regarding fixed individual employment contracts and by INESC TEC norms.

Selection Criteria

The selection of the candidates will be based on the following criteria, in descending order of consideration:

1. Relevant Curriculum in the concerned field of this tender.
2. Proven experience.

DISABILITY INCENTIVE

Candidates who present a degree of disability equal to or greater than 90% will benefit from an incentive in the score of the CV Assessment.

Candidates who present a degree of disability equal to or greater than 60% and less than 90% will also benefit from an incentive in the score of the CV Assessment.

Said score may, in these cases, exceed 100 points. Candidates must demonstrate the degree of disability during the application, namely through the submission of the Multi-Purpose Medical Certificate of Disability, issued in accordance with Decree-Law no. 202/96, of October 23 - currently in effect.
