The Department of Economics, Management and Statistics of the University of Milan-Bicocca invites expressions of interest for a position of Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Economics (RTT, 13 ECON-01/A Economia Politica). We welcome applications from candidates with a strong research track-record in any field of Economics. Eligible candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Economics. The position will be full time for a period of up to 6 years. After a minimum of 3 years, the position can be converted into an Associate Professorship, subject to a positive departmental evaluation and to holding the Italian National Qualification as Associate Professor. Expected starting date is September 2025.

Teaching load is about 60 hours (per year) and the expected starting date is September 2025. A top-up on the standard national salary for these positions may be offered to outstanding candidates. Candidates (of any nationality) who have been resident outside of Italy for at least the last 2 years will be able to apply for a significant tax break spanning the entire length of the contract.
