Datini International Institute of Economic History

The Datini International Institute of Economic History was founded in 1967 in Prato, Italy as an academic research institution. The Datini foundation studies economic history and relevant findings from the pre-industrial age, regarding the XIIIth-XVIIIth centuries. The main aim of the institute is to create a sense of awareness, understanding, and space for historical culture concerning economic history. Both private and public agencies fund the prestigious committee and its activities geared towards young students, scholars, activities, scientists, and professionals.
