The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CBA)Â was established in 1992
in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Central Bank is responsible for conducting monetary
policy in the country, and also works to regulate payment and banking
systems. Furthermore, the main goal of the CBA is to secure price
stability.Â
