The IN-EAST School of Advanced Studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen
was established to further understand and promote innovation efforts in East
Asia. IN-EAST focuses specifically on research and education activities
in Korea, Japan, and China. The School has formed numerous research groups
concerning topics such as Urban Systems in East Asia, Political Innovations
in East Asian Cities, and Behavioral Economics and East Asia.Â
