The Center on Globalization, Governance & Competitiveness (CGGC) is an
affiläiate center of the Social Science Research Institute located at Duke
University in Durham, North Carolina. CGGC  focuses on global values
chains in order to study the lasting effects of globalization concerning
topics such as innovation, entrepreneurship, industrial upgrading,
environment, engineering, and global health. CGGCÂ draws national and
international scholars and researchers from around the world to participate
