The Department of Economics and Politics at the Visva-Bharati University
was established in West Bengal, India. It is a new addition to the
university, which focuses on economic development, history, politics in
India, and other relevant issues. The department has approximately eighteen
professors and faculty members which coordinate programs for Indian and
international students. Furthermore, it is quickly gaining recognition
throughout the region for its innovative research and methods of teaching.
