  The Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies is for detail-oriented professionals who want to understand the inner workings of an entire organization. The opportunities for students completing a bachelor's degree in Economics vary. Some will find work as government economists while others find employment as corporate planners in private industry. The undergraduate program offers courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, monetary economics, and law and economics. We also offer special paths for outstanding undergraduate programs Each is taught with the department's founding aim in mind: enabling careers for students to whom nuance is no small matter. The Department of Economics, Finance, and Legal Studies offers graduate programs at the Masters level in Finance (MSF), and Economics; and at the Doctoral level in Finance Ph.D and Economics Ph.D The department also hosts a weekly Seminar Series throughout the semester that features leading researchers and academics from all over the world.
