The Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies* *was established in 1987 as a state supported, public academic institution in Pisa Italy. The school holds a unique position within the Italian higher education system as it offers international Masters and Ph.D. courses, and specialized courses for undergraduates in collaboration with the University of Pisa. Approximately 1,600 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students are enrolled in the university.
