Tsinghua University (THU) was established in 1911 as a public academic
institution in Beijing, China. More than 30,000 undergraduate, graduate, and
doctoral students in the eleven schools at the university. THU is one of
the nine distinguished members of the C9 League and is known for its academic
and research efforts in the fields of arts and design, social science,
architecture, and mechanical engieering.Â
