Call for Papers: 8th International Young Finance Scholars Conference, online, 8–9 April 2027. Early Career Researchers are invited to submit original research across all areas of finance by 31 December 2026. Submit by 30 November for an invitation to the 10 December paper-improvement workshop, one revision opportunity and a networking token from the rarer half of the IYFS collection. Keynote: Professor Andrew Lo, MIT Sloan. The programme also includes a Meet the Editors panel, expert feedback, awards and global networking. No submission fee.
The University of Sussex Business School invites paper submissions for the 8th International Young Finance Scholars (IYFS) Conference, an online global conference for Early Career Researchers in finance, taking place on 8–9 April 2027. The programme includes a keynote by Professor Andrew Lo of MIT Sloan, a Meet the Editors panel with editors of leading finance journals, detailed feedback from internationally recognised researchers, Best Paper Awards and structured networking before, during and after the conference.
Original research is welcome across all areas of theoretical and applied finance, including interdisciplinary work with a strong finance contribution. Eligible submitting correspondents and presenters include doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, university faculty at Assistant Professor level or equivalent, and industry or public-sector researchers within five years of completing a PhD. Exceptional Masters students on research-intensive programmes may also submit. Papers may include senior co-authors, but the submitting correspondent and presenter must be an Early Career Researcher. Draft papers are welcome if they state a clear research question, methodology and preliminary or completed results. There is no submission fee.
Early-submission benefits: authors who submit by 30 November 2026 will be invited to an online paper-improvement workshop on 10 December 2026 at 14:00 UK time, with one opportunity to revise before the final deadline. They will also receive an IYFS networking token guaranteed to come from the rarer half of the collection. The final submission deadline is 31 December 2026.
