TKBB Will Make Significant Contributions to the Sector and Academia with the International Paper Competition

The Participation Banks Association of Türkiye (TKBB), in collaboration with Istanbul Ticaret University, is organizing the first award-winning international academic paper competition within the scope of "Islamic Finance" in the fields of "Social Finance, Financial Literacy, Sustainability and Digitalisation" to contribute to the development of Islamic banking in Türkiye and increase awareness. Doctoral students, doctoral graduate researchers, academics, and industry professionals can participate. In the competition, which aims to contribute to the development of Islamic Finance in the national and international arena, papers prepared on local and global practices will be accepted with priority.

The paper competition, which will be evaluated by jury members who have made significant contributions in the field of Islamic finance, will be evaluated and scored through a blind review system for econometric, mathematical, and simulation analyses, as well as research that includes supporting theories in the fields of "Social Finance, Financial Literacy, Sustainability, and Digitalisation". Participants in the international paper competition will be able to contribute to the sector by having the opportunity to implement their proposals in addition to the awards.

Participants can only submit one academic paper based on the determined topics. The competition, which allows individual or group participation, requires opinions to be prepared in an academic paper format and submitted according to the guidelines on the essaycompetition.tkbb.org.tr website. The submitted papers will have the opportunity to be published in a book or journal and will be academically supported.

The winning papers will be presented by their authors in a panel discussion and their awards will be presented during the event.
