The Africa NextGen Prize is a new initiative spearheaded by The Africa Report and Jeune Afrique. There were over 70 candidates across 14 African countries, which were analysed by an independent jury of leading African economists, Abdoulaye Ndiaye embodies what the prize set out to celebrate: rigorous, useful work oriented toward public action and serving citizens, decision-makers, and the private sector alike.
