At the Paris School of Economics, researchers Paloma Peligry and Grégoire Sempé received the prestigious French Association for Environmental and Resource Economists (FAERE) Award 2025 for their outstanding contributions to the field of economics. This recognition highlights their innovative research and dedication to advancing economic understanding.

Paloma Peligry, a PhD student at Sciences Po in Paris, and Grégoire Sempé, a PhD student at the Paris School of Economics have been awarded the FAERE Award for the year 2025. 

The FAERE Award is a significant honor in the French and European academic community, recognizing exceptional individuals for their impactful research and contributions to economics. 

The ceremony took place recently, celebrating the hard work and dedication of Peligry and Sempé in their respective research areas. Both researchers have demonstrated remarkable innovation, pushing the boundaries of economic theory and application. 

Their winning paper, titled "Climate Policies in the Housing Market", focused on the macroeconomic and redistributive impacts of climate policies applied to the French residential housing market.
