The Department of Industrial Organization, Logistics and Technology of Toulouse Business School is seeking to fill in one faculty position in the field of management science and operations management, to maintain and develop its reputation for excellence in research and high quality teaching. The position is open from September 1st 2012, and is maintained opened until filled in.
The successful candidate will have a PhD (or is expected to receive a PhD prior to taking up the appointment), have an active research program and the potential to publish in leading academic journals and/or the recognition at an international level in his research. She/he will have excellent teaching ability and be capable and motivated to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in management science and operations management. Teaching will be done mainly in English; however the ability to teach in French is valued. There are no administrative duties expected from a successful junior candidate.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL:
Toulouse Business School (ESC Toulouse) was the first French business school outside Paris area to obtain AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA accreditations. The School has three campuses: Toulouse, Barcelona (Spain), and Casablanca (Morocco). It has a core "Grande Ecole" Program, lasting three years with roughly 450 students entering each year, which delivers a Master in Management; this program is offered on all campuses. There are twenty four specialized Master programs (one of which specializes in supply chain management), an MBA program, and an executive program. The School has formed a partnership with the Department of Management of the University of Toulouse I (IAE) to offer a joint PhD program (Ecole Doctorale) in Management and is a member of the PRES University of Toulouse (http://en.univ-toulouse.fr/about-us) .

Our research reflects our faculty expertise in the areas of operations management, industrial organization and managerial economics and has been published in highly regarded research journals.
